The Indian women's football team will play host to Maldives for two FIFA international friendlies at the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence in Bengaluru. (More Football News)

The IND Vs MDV games will be played on Monday and Thursday, respectively with the scheduled kick-off to be at 3:30pm IST. India are ranked 69th in the women's football FIFA Rankings, whereas Maldives are 163rd in the rankings.

Ahead of the game, Indian women's football team coach Joakim Alexandersson announced a mix of senior and U20 players in the 23-member squad for the two international friendlies against Maldives in Bengaluru on December 30 and January 2.

"We have some senior women's players joining us in the Bengaluru camp so we'll have a mix of U20 and senior players for this match. We're going to try and implement some things in tomorrow's game.

"It's nice to see and train the best in the country," said the Swede, who was named chief coach of India's women's U20 and U17 national teams earlier this month.

India’s last international outing ended in disappointment, where they made a tame exit via penalty shootout loss to Nepal in the SAFF Championship semi-finals following a 3-1 defeat to Bangladesh in the group stage.

India last played Maldives back in 2021, registering a 3-1 victory along the way.

Goalkeepers: Hempriya Seram, Maibam Linthoingambi Devi, Nandini.

Defenders: Aruna Bag, Juhi Singh, Juli Kishan, Sangita Basfore, Sanju, Shivani Toppo, Sorokhaibam Ranjana Chanu, Toijam Thoibisana Chanu, Vikshit Bara.

Midfielders: Grace Dangmei, Kajol Dsouza, Neha, Nongmeikapam Sibani Devi, Nitu Linda, Rimpa Haldar.

Forwards: Lhingdeikim, Lynda Kom Serto, Pooja, Pyari Xaxa, Simran Gurung.

"Amit Rohidas was suspended for one match for a breach of the FIH Code of Conduct which occurred during the India vs Great Britain match on August 4," a FIH official statement read.
